Anyone born after January 1, 1969 must take and pass a TWRA approved hunter education program in order to hunt in Tennessea As of March 2000 all persons that hunt on federal laud must be certified in hunter education regardless of age. Students must be nine years of age or older on first day of class. Persons interested in this class can call David Adkins at 647-1500 or the church office at 931-358-0205 for more information and to re-register for this class.

This class is offered free of charge and consists often hours of classroom participation and a live firing exercise. Students will develop the correct attitude toward firearms and hunting, develop knowledge of firearms and archery, wildlife management, hunter responsibility, survival, first aid, home fireanns safety, safety in the field, firing range procedures and field care of game animals. Do not bring a firearm or ammunition to the class. Do bring your social security number.
